Dermatologist Alexa B. Kimball, MD, MPH, President and CEO of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Psoriasis Foundation for her contributions to caring for those impacted by psoriasis through her research, teaching and clinical efforts.
“Serving my patients is at the center of all that I do, and it is to them that I dedicate this recognition,” said Kimball, who is also professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School. “It is such an honor to be recognized by my outstanding peers and colleagues. I am grateful for their ongoing collaboration and shared dedication to this field. While there is always more to do, it is so rewarding that we have made so much progress for our patients.”
