The Dish with Johannes ft. Phillip Sharp: LIVESTREAM
LabCentral is honored and excited to host a livestream of our founder-based video series, The Dish! Join us for a very special episode featuring Biogen co-founder, MIT Institute Professor, and Nobel prize winner, Phillip Sharp.
Phillip Sharp is an Institute Professor at MIT and a renowned geneticist and molecular biologist whose discoveries transformed the world’s understanding of gene expression. As co-founder of Biogen and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Sharp’s contributions have been instrumental in building Cambridge’s biotech ecosystem. Awarded the 1993 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of RNA splicing, Dr. Sharp has been a driving force in bridging fundamental research and biotechnology innovation.
The program is expected to run approximately 45 minutes, with additional time at the end for questions from attendees.
