The Barry L. Karger Medal Lectures and Award, a biannual event hosted by Northeastern University’s College of Science and Barnett Institute for Chemical & Biological Analysis, recognizes an individual who has contributed significantly to the development of new analytical methods using bioanalytical tecniques, or research within a scientific field aligned with the Barnett Institute. The medal was established in honor of Northeastern University Professor and Barnett Institute Director Emeritus Barry Karger.
This year’s distinguished lecturer is Pauline Rudd, Ph.D. Dr. Rudd is an Emeritus Fellow of the University College Dublin’s Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research. She is also a Visiting Investigator at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute, AStar, Singapore.
