Dr. William Giannobile, dean of Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), is a leader in the field of periodontology and an internationally recognized scholar in oral regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and precision medicine. He is an alumnus of HSDM, with an advanced degree in periodontology and oral biology.

This talk will highlight tissue engineering strategies using biologics, cellular and gene therapeutics that are now beginning to enter the clinical arena. These technologies include the use of 3D printing on growth factors to rebuild tissues around teeth and replacements in the jaws such as dental implants.
