Cancer Disparities and Later Life: Aging and the Accumulation of Health Risks

Jan Mutchler is a professor of gerontology at UMass Boston and the founding director of its Center for Social and Demographic Research on Aging. She is the director of the Gerontology Institute at the University’s Manning College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Dr. Mutchler’s scholarship focuses on diversity, inequality, and disparities in aging, seeking to strengthen scholarship and its impact on our growing and diverse older population. Following the keynote, there will be posters from Partnership trainees.
