SUMMARY:2023 Rare Disease Day
DESCRIPTION:Join MassBio as we mark the annual Rare Disease Day at the Statehouse by bringing attention to the groundbreaking\, patient-focused research happening in Massachusetts to treat and cure rare diseases and renewing our commitment to advance this critical science equitably. \nPeople living with a rare disease are more likely to experience treatment inequality\, misdiagnosis\, and isolation. Whether you are a policymaker\, a health advocate\, a patient organization\, a person living with a rare disease or a family member\, we invite you to attend MassBio’s 2023 Rare Disease Day to hear from speakers\, learn from panelists\, and be seen by lawmakers. After the conference and advocacy is over\, join us for a reception. \nAlone we are rare\, together we are strong.® (This slogan is a registered trademark of the National Organization for Rare Disorders.) \nTo inquire about sponsorship opportunities\, contact Laura Rudberg.MassBio makes every effort to accommodate our entire community at each of our events. Please let us know at least 3 days in advance of the event if you require special accommodations\, such as captioning. \nAttendees are required to be fully vaccinated.
